Pending city council approval on February 8th, a new face will be found on the dais as the Planning Commission moves into 2016 and its deliberations on the Comprehensive Plan and Critical Areas Ordinance. Lisa Anderson, presently the president of the York Neighborhood Association, has been named by Mayor Linville in an agenda item for the upcoming council meeting. Lisa has been very active in York Neighborhood issues for several years now. Most recently, she was a driving force behind actions to end the crime that plagued the Aloha Motel and environs on Samish Way. The motel was condemned and recently razed. Lisa also worked closely with the city and other neighborhoods on planning for the Samish Way urban village.
