Larry Farr to go against Seth Fleetwood

By On

KGMI radio's Tracy Ellis broken the news this morning that Larry Farr will switch from running for the 3rd Ward City Council seat to the At Large seat currently held by Seth Fleetwood. This really shakes up these two elections. Larry is anticipated to be an energetic candidate and he has some good public service experience.

A link to the KGMI report is below.

This leaves Barry Buchanan and Cathy Lehman going against each other for the 3rd Ward, with Barry seeking his second term.

And it presents Seth Fleetwood with a huge challenge. Seth is seen as quite liberal - his proposal to ban plastic shopping bags being good evidence - and Larry will have a very good chance of getting moderates to back him in addition to having the entire conservative vote. That, even though Larry doesn't seem, at this time, to be that conservative.

As of this posting, there is still nothing on the Herald site nor in today's paper. Wonder if they will give credit to KGMI for breaking this. Nah. They don't do that.
